Janine Carrero
Janine is a Nuyorican from the Bronx who has made a home in Florida with her husband and their two boys—who have shown her the beauty of love beyond blood. She is a chosen woman of God, a living testimony of His grace. Her journey has been one of deep love and loss, transformation, faith, and gratitude. You can always find her bags packed with hope and resilience for the many unexpected detours on life’s journey.
Recent changes in direction for her include a layoff and a long toll road of health issues, leading to a stage III cancer diagnosis—all of which deepened her trust in God.
With over two decades of experience as a corporate leader and coach, helping others has always been meaningful work to her. But God placed a bigger calling on her heart—to step out in faith and build something of her own. Knowing His plans are greater, she is excited to collaborate with God on this next chapter of her life.
With a heart that beats for helping other women on their journey, she is grateful for this opportunity to share pieces of her story—for His glory—to encourage and empower this community of chosen women to always emerge stronger with God.

Tillia Britt
Tillia is a pastor’s kid (P.K.) who has been immersed in ministry all her life. However, even though church was always her home, she didn’t fully step into serving with purpose until she found her place at Crossover Church. Since then, she has served in various roles, including Growth Group Leader, Youth Leader, Administrative Assistant to the Youth Pastor, and as a member of both the Prayer and Connections Teams. Today, she serves on staff as the Ministry Administrator and Executive Assistant.
Passionate about discipling the next generation, Tillia co-founded Diamonds of Virtue, a teen girls' youth group, alongside a sister and friend in Christ. She now sits on the board as the group prepares for its relaunch this year. Her journey to spiritual freedom came through understanding the difference between religion and relationship, and she is committed to sharing this freedom with the world.
Her life verses are Matthew 6:33 and Romans 8:28, with Psalm 92:12-14 and Romans 12:2 recently added as reminders of God’s sovereignty and transformation. A lifelong learner, she enjoys exploring theology and psychology—especially the character of God and people—and sharing her insights through writing and speaking.
Tillia loves being a mom and embraces every season of it, knowing she never truly knows when the last day of a season will come—and that she will miss it. Becoming a mom at 37 has filled her heart with immense gratitude for both God and her own mother as a parent. It has also deepened her understanding of God’s love and care for her in a profound way.
Florida is home to Tillia, her husband Richard, and their toddler, Uriah.

Jeneé Tyson
From Baltimore to Texas to Delaware to Tampa, Jeneé is no stranger to change. Her story is quite intriguing. As a former semi-pro basketball player, traveling singer-songwriter, and college campus pastor, Jeneé was raised by a single mom determined to keep her children involved in church. Consequently, she started teaching Vacation Bible School at 16. Decades later, she used that same teaching gift to minister in public schools, where she has now taught for over 15 years.
Even though she is a music major, she has taught several core content areas to students ranging from Pre-K to 11th grade—covering subjects from Math to Chemistry, and Music to World History. This passion for teaching is what has encouraged her to explore so many subject matters within the profession.
As a single mom herself, she has also had the privilege of teaching her own three children, for which she is most grateful. She would say, “Teaching is my jam, and being a mom is a beautiful gift from God that I am honored to experience.”
As she shares her life experiences through her writing, she hopes to weave God’s Word in a relevant and applicable way for every reader. In this way, she can share her gift with people she may never meet—all for God’s glory.
